About Boyd Hilder
At his first X Games BMX Street contest in Japan 2023, Australian Boyd Hilder did the unthinkable: He beat Garrett Reynolds! (And everyone else.) Hilder, who was the second alternate when he arrived in Japan, was the first rider to run, and he sat at the top of the leaderboard the entire comp. It was no fluke, either: Hilder backed up that gold medal with a silver in Street at XG California a few months later. Hilder lives in the Gold Coast of Australia. Between contests and filming trips, he used to work in a warehouse where he picked and packed orders. XG hardware has created opportunities for Hilder to ride full-time without working a side job.
