About Brendan Mackay
Brendan dominates both the halfpipe and the lab. He’s finished top five in four X Games appearances, including a rookie bronze in 2020. He soared to halfpipe gold at the 2023 World Championships in Bakuriani and claimed the 2022 year-end World Cup title. This winter, he’s off to a great start with a victory at the September 2024 Cardrona World Cup and a runner-up finish at the Copper World Cup in December. Meanwhile, he’s earning a master’s in physics at the University of Calgary, researching superconducting quantum technology. He has 11 total World Cup podiums, and he’s not done yet.
