A rising star in freeskiing, this X Games rookie just clinched two big air World Cup victories in January 2025 at Kreischberg and Klagenfurt, both with his groundbreaking switch triple 1620 Esco grab. He adds those to a third place finish in slopestyle at the March 2024 World Cup in Silvaplana. He’s the only skier to have attempted a triple 1980 with a blunt grab, though he’s yet to stomp it in competition. Inspired by fellow New Zealander Jossi Wells, he balances big tricks on the slopes with playing guitar, mountain biking and dirt biking. His parents run a scenic lodge in New Zealand, hosting weddings and family gatherings year-round.
