About Alex Hall
Hall is the first male skier to medal in three disciplines at the same X Games, doing it at Aspen 2022 — Big Air gold, plus Slopestyle and Knuckle Huck bronze. He’s also the first to earn gold in four different X Games Ski disciplines: Slopestyle, Big Air, Knuckle Huck and Real Ski; the 27-year-old owns 12 total XG medals. The 2022 Winter Olympic slopestyle champ grew up in Switzerland, where his parents are professors at the University of Zurich, but the American went to high school in Park City, Utah. He speaks four languages, including fluent Swiss German. Between ski trips, Hall’s bestie is his grandpa Charles, age 102, who lives in Salt Lake City. Hall lived with him for years and hangs out with him frequently.
