About Gustavo Ribeiro
Gustavo Ribeiro’s 4th place rookie appearance at X Games Norway 2019 made him the first athlete ever to represent Portugal at X Games; any medal at XG Ventura 2024 would make him Portugal’s first X Games medalist. Gustavo and his twin brother Gabriel grew up pushing each other and climbing the am ranks and Gustavo’s win at Tampa Am 2017 helped push him into the pro ranks: he officially turned pro for Jart Skateboards in May 2019. He’s been a podium regular and frequent winner on the Street League Skateboarding circuit, including a win at the SLS Super Crown in 2022. He finished 8th at the Tokyo Olympics (July 2021) representing Portugal.
