About Cocomo Murase
Big Air gold with a first-in-women’s-competition backside double cork 1260 at X Games Norway 2018 made Cocomo Murase the youngest winter medalist as a rookie at 13, but she considers it old news. Now 21, she’s even prouder of her accomplishments at X Games Aspen 2024, where she won gold in both Big Air and Knuckle Huck and took silver in Slopestyle, the closest any woman or any winter athlete has come to triple gold at X Games. The progression leader in women’s snowboarding, she was the first to bring triple cork 1440s to women’s competition in 2024. In November 2026 she became the first woman to land a 1620. What’s next? We can’t wait to see what other surprises she has in store for X Games fans.
