MoonPay X Games League Calgary Tickets Sell Out; Music-Only Tickets Added

Three-day competition tickets for X Games’ Calgary debut have sold out. Limited music-only tickets are now available for live performances from Steve Aoki and Levity.

CALGARY, Alberta (November 2, 2026) – X Games today announced that three-day competition tickets and Premium Gold Lounge passes for the MoonPay X Games League (XGL) Calgary event have officially sold out.

The second stop of the three-event XGL Winter Season will take place February 19-21, 2027, at WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park. Calgary is one of two new international markets joining the X Games calendar this winter, along with Ruka, Finland, which hosts the championship April 9-11. The season begins at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, January 29-31.

Demand for Calgary exceeded projections from the moment tickets went live on September 14. Premium Gold Lounge passes sold out in the first week, while general admission moved through six pricing tiers in less than a month. Fans from 18 countries and 11 Canadian provinces and territories have purchased tickets for the event.

Additionally, in response to strong interest, X Games has released a limited number of music-only tickets, offering fans exclusive access to live performances by Levity on Friday night and Steve Aoki on Saturday night. Music-only tickets are now on sale at xgames.com/tickets and include access to the concert venue only.

The XGL Winter Season follows the thrilling debut of the XGL Summer Season, which introduced a new competitive structure to action sports. Rather than competing solely for individual medals, athletes earn points for their clubs throughout the season, creating an ongoing championship race while preserving the individual progression and creativity at the heart of X Games.

Across the three stops, the world’s best ski and snowboard athletes will compete for four X Games Clubs – XC Golden State, XC New York, XC Park City and XC Whistler – earning points toward the season standings and the first-ever MoonPay X Games League Winter Championship.

“Calgary had never hosted X Games, and it sold out” said Jeremy Bloom, CEO of X Games. “That tells you something about this market and where action sports are headed. We’re bringing the best athletes in the world, team competition with real stakes and a music lineup built for the same audience, all in one weekend. The response from Calgary has been incredible. We also heard from a lot of fans who wanted to be part of the weekend specifically for the music. Opening a limited music-only ticket gives more people a way into X Games while protecting the experience for fans who already purchased competition passes.”

“We’re thrilled to see the excitement and enthusiasm Canadians have for X Games’ iconic winter action sports culture,” said Alisha Reynolds, President and CEO of Tourism Calgary. “Calgary has a deep-rooted passion for winter sport, and this event will add a new dimension to our exciting winter festival season. We can’t wait to welcome fans with our warm western hospitality for the inaugural X Games Calgary.”

“Seeing this kind of demand for X Games Calgary is incredibly exciting for WinSport and for our city,” said Barry Heck, President and CEO of WinSport. “We have a deep connection to winter sport and a proud Olympic legacy, and the response from fans shows just how much anticipation there is to once again see some of the best athletes in the world competing at our facilities. We’re thrilled to see the community rally around this event, and we can’t wait to welcome athletes and fans from around the world to WinSport in February for what promises to be a truly memorable weekend.”

For the first time in X Games history, athletes compete in a structured season and team-based format, allowing for season-long storylines and deeper athlete-fan engagement across broadcast, streaming, live events, and digital platforms.
