About Moto
The first Japanese skater to medal at X Games, Moto Shibata (V silver, 2016) wreaks destruction on the vert ramp, the same way he films, producing a part in just a few sessions. Raised on 1980s skateboarding videos, Moto Shibata brings a style not seen on the vert ramp in decades. The 21-year old's latest part was on "2017 Trannies" on The Ride Channel. A Vert Ams competitor at X Games in 2009, Shibata has actually been pro since he was 13. Circa 2017, he's the reigning gold medalist of the X Games Vert ramp.
