Soya Inomata has already brought two contest-first tricks to X Games: He stunned for Vert Best Trick silver at as a 14-year-old rookie at X Games Ventura 2024 with a never-been-done alley-oop varial kickflip 540 Indy, and finished 6th in Vert. Last year, at X Games Osaka 2025 he introduced the “Raijin” varial 540 varial stalefish to XG Vert Best Trick to earn bronze, then used it again to take Vert Best Trick silver at X Games Salt Lake City 2025. He’s also a strong park skater.
