Three-time X Games bronze medalist Juno Matsuoka has also become a podium regular at events including Exposure Skate, the Jackalope vert series, and Brazil’s CBSC Vert Battle. The Osaka native grew up skating at the Goodskates “G” Skatepark in Kobe, Japan, looking up to X Games gold medalist Moto Shibata and part of a rising cohort of young vert skaters from the area that includes X Games competitors Asahi Kaihara and Ema Kawakami.
