Asahi Kaihara earned 1 silver, 24 bronze in her first 4 X Games Vert starts. She comes out of the same “Simple City” Osaka, Japan skate scene as X Games gold medalist Moto Shibata, partly built by Shibata and his father and friends, so don’t be surprised when you see her blasting in the Vert ramp. She’s also a strong park skater: she finished 3rd at the 2025 Japan Open in April, and notched her first World Skate park podium in Ostia, Italy in 2024. A member of the Blood Wizard Skateboards team, she released her first full video part in December 2024, partly filmed on Elliot Sloan and Bob Burnquist’s backyard ramps. She turned pro for Blood Wizard after her part in the March 2026 team video “Sorcery.”
