Juni Kang earned the silver medal in his Skateboard Street debut at X Games Osaka 2025, becoming the first Korean skateboard medalist at X Games, fresh off of his wins at Copenhagen Open 2025 and Tampa Am 2024 and suddenly one of the most buzzed-about skaters in the world. He added Street Best Trick gold and Street bronze at XG Sacramento 2026, the Street Best Trick gold and Street silver at XG Chiba 2026. He’s from Yangsan, South Korea and is the first skateboarder ever to represent Korea at X Games. He grew up idolizing X Games gold medalist Yuto Horigome, and is now represented by Horigome’s new talent agency, Gifted Existence Management. “I want to show the world that Korea and Korean skateboarders belong on the global skateboarding map,” he says.
