Seventeen-year-old Gui Khury (XC São Paulo) claimed gold with an incredible first-attempt run, landing a kickflip body varial 900—the winning trick—despite competing with a broken hand. Today’s victory marks Khury’s sixth consecutive X Games gold in Vert Best Trick and a record-setting seventh gold medal in the discipline. He is also the most decorated teenager in X Games history, with 16 career medals, including 10 gold.

“I’m feeling really happy,” said Khury. “Especially with this broken wrist I have, I grabbed with my other hand to land my best trick. It hasn’t been an easy year for me. This is my first win this year, so I’m really happy about that.”

Rounding out the podium were free agent and Japanese standouts, 16-year-old Soya Inomata, who earned silver with an alley-oop kickflip varial to body varial stalefish 540, and 11-year-old Ema Kawakami, the youngest male competitor this weekend and the second-youngest athlete overall, who captured bronze with a fakie-to-forward 1080.

Rising star Ginwoo Onodera (XC New York), 16, struck gold with a standout run highlighted by a switch frontside 270 frontside bluntslide to fakie down the handrail, a half Cab kickflip over the hip, a frontside kickflip on the quarterpipe, and a kickflip backside tailslide on the bump-to-ledge before finishing with a switch heelflip on flat and a kickflip frontside bluntslide to bigspin out of the big handrail.

“I could hear my name coming from the crowd just as I was about to land my trick,” commented Onodera about landing his winning trick. “It really hyped me up.”

Skateboarding legend Nyjah Huston (XC New York) earned silver, coming just short of gold, which would have tied BMX Street star Garrett Reynolds for the most X Games gold medals of all time. His run featured a switch frontside kickflip over the bump-to-bump, 360 flip, halfcab crooked grind on the flat bar, and a frontside 180 nosegrind 180 out on the ledge.

Juni Kang (Free Agent)—the first Korean skateboard medalist in X Games history—captured bronze for his second career X Games medal, highlighted by a switch 270 to backside lipslide down the handrail, a nollie heelflip over the hip, and a switch frontside 270 to frontside bluntslide to fakie down the big handrail.

Australian standout Ryan Williams (XC São Paulo) delivered a show-stopping performance to claim gold in Dave Mirra BMX Park Best Trick, headlined by an Australian 1–2 finish on the podium and two never-before-done (NBD) tricks landed in competition. The now 12-time X Games gold medalist threw down a 540 frontflip flair on the vert wall in Run 2—an NBD in competition—to secure yet another victory and further cement his status as one of the most electrifying athletes in action sports.

“It’s always good to win a gold. Shout out to my boy Oliver Tree,” said Williams when asked about his gold medal-winning trick. “He was a genuine friend to me. I wanted to give back to him in a way that I could—by naming a trick after him. So the alley-oop 540 front flair—we are going to call it the ‘Oliver Twist.’”

Fellow Australian Logan Martin (XC New York), returning just two weeks after battling pneumonia, earned silver with a decade 540 flair on the quarterpipe in Run 2—also an NBD in competition—marking another milestone moment in the Australian sweep. It was Martin’s second medal of the weekend, with two more competitions still ahead.

American Daniel Sandoval (XC New York) rounded out the podium with bronze after delivering a flair windshield wiper on the quarterpipe in Run 4.

Teen skateboard phenom Arisa Trew (XC Tokyo) continued her dominance in women’s skateboarding, following up Friday’s Women’s Skateboard Park gold with another victory in Skateboard Vert Best Trick. The win marked her second gold medal of the weekend and 10th career X Games gold, tying her with Lindsey Jacobellis for the most X Games gold medals by a woman in X Games history. It also tied Trew with Gui Khury (XC São Paulo) for the most X Games medals ever earned by a teenager. Trew’s Switch McTwist in Run 1 proved untouchable, holding up as the winning trick throughout the competition and securing yet another milestone in her career.

“The Switch McTwist was my safety trick and it went well because I got it for my first try,” said Trew. “I was really trying to get my switch body varial 5 because I never landed it before, but I didn’t get it, unfortunately!”

Trew’s new teammate, 15-year-old Mizuho Hasegawa (XC Tokyo) earned silver with a massive alley-oop judo 540 in her first run, soaring approximately six feet above the vert ramp, while 11-year-old Mia Kretzer (XC LA) rounded out the podium with bronze, landing a stylish one-foot McTwist.

Men’s Skateboard Park continued its reputation as one of X Games’ most competitive disciplines, and Gavin Bottger (Free Agent) rose to the occasion, defending his title with a winning second run packed with technical consistency and style. His gold-medal performance featured a slob fastplant on the tower, kickflip Indy, Madonna, 50-50 on the rainbow rail, gap up to crooked grind to fakie through the corner, and a switch backside tailgrab 360 over the hip, earning Bottger his second consecutive Skateboard Park gold and fifth X Games medal overall.

“I don’t really know how I’m feeling right now. I’m tripping,” said Bottger after the win. “I just wanted to skate my best, have fun and let the park take me where it wanted to take me.”

Fifteen-year-old X Games rookie Egoitz Bijueska (Free Agent) made history with silver, becoming the first Spanish skateboarder to earn an X Games medal. His standout run included an Indy 540, backside 540, gap to backside lipslide up the extension, and an Indy 540 to fakie over the hip.

Rounding out the podium was X Games Osaka 2025 Skateboard Park champion Tom Schaar (XC Los Angeles), who claimed the 10th bronze medal of his X Games career with a run highlighted by a frontside blunt on the tower, backside 540, gap up to lipslide in the bowl corner extension, and a tailgrab to fakie over the hip.

Patrick Evans delivered a career-defining performance to claim gold in Moto X Best Trick with a score of 95.66, becoming a two-time X Games gold medalist while riding the only electric motorcycle in this weekend’s Moto X competitions. His winning trick—a Nak-Nak no-hander front flip—is widely regarded as one of the most physically demanding and intimidating maneuvers in freestyle motocross.

“Winning Best Trick is a lot more meaningful than Best Whip because it’s the gnarliest thing you can do, so I never thought I’d have it,” said Evans. “It hasn’t sunk in yet. I really didn’t think I’d win, even if I stuck my trick. I thought someone else would have something gnarlier.”

Ben Richards continued his breakout weekend by earning silver. The youngest of four siblings, Richards edged out his older brother Tom—who finished just off the podium—landing a Body varial flip to double grab Hart Attack to secure his place among Moto X’s elite.

Rounding out the podium was Richards’ mentor, eight-time X Games gold medalist and defending Moto X Best Trick champion Rob Adelberg, who earned his fifth bronze medal and 21st X Games career medal. Australia’s most decorated X Games athlete narrowly missed becoming the first rider in history to win four consecutive Moto X Best Trick titles, also attempted a never been done trick in competition but was not able to land the Frontflip seatgrab Shaolin barhop cleanly.

The rivalry between defending BMX Dirt champion Ryan Williams (XC São Paulo) and two-time X Games gold medalist Brady Baker (XC Los Angeles) continued in Sacramento, but this time it was Baker who came out on top. Riding in front of his hometown crowd, Baker put together the winning run to capture his third X Games BMX Dirt gold medal.

“This one feels good,” said Baker, who also shared that he and his partner are expecting a baby girl. “It’s amazing to win in front of a hometown crowd. I’ve been out here training, working my butt off, and to get a gold medal here in Sacramento, in front of the home crowd, in front of my whole family, everybody that supports me—this one means a lot. It means the most out of any gold I’ve gotten. I can’t wait to keep collecting more.”

Williams settled for silver after three strong runs, earning his second X Games medal of the weekend and the 15th medal of his career.

Fellow Australian Logan Martin (XC New York) claimed bronze—his third medal of the weekend. Still in search of his first gold in Sacramento, Martin will have one final opportunity on Sunday when he competes in Men’s BMX Dirt Best Trick, his fourth and final event of the weekend.
