About Arisa Trew
Australian teen Arisa Trew made history in 2023 as the first woman to land a 720 on a skateboard (at Vert Alert), then the first woman to land the trick in a competition run, for walk-off Skateboard Vert gold at XG California 2023. Following it with Skateboard Park gold the next day made her the youngest to win 2 gold at 1 X Games (age 13 years, 2 months, breaking Shaun White’s record from XG Aspen 2003 at age 16 years, 4 months). Those achievements helped her earn the 2024 Laureus World Sports Award for Action Sportsperson of the Year. In May 2024 she became the first woman to land a 900, a switch McTwist, and an eggplant 540. Then she won Vert and Park gold again at XG Ventura 2024, becoming the first woman to successfully defend double gold, and won Park again at XG Chiba 2024, and double gold again at XG Osaka 2025. As of X Games Osaka 2025, she now owns the most X Games women’s skateboard gold medals (7), tied with In-Line skater Fabiola da Silva for most women’s summer medals.
