Mizuho Hasegawa was just 12 years old when she made her X Games debut in Japan in May 2023, finishing 6th weeks after her Japanese National Championships win got her noticed. A few months later, she earned X Games California 2023 Park silver. She added Vert and Vert Best Trick silver in her discipline debuts in each at XG Ventura 2024. Other 2024 highlights included finishing 2nd at Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert in Salt Lake City, Utah, in June and winning the 2024 Tampa Pro Vert contest April. She’s coming out strong in 2025, too, with wins at Belco Vert in Australia in February, Vert Attack in Sweden in April, and the World Skate park event in Ostia, Italy in June. Watch for backside 540s (her favorite trick) and stylish backside Smith grinds. She’s mentored and sponsored by vert legend Tony Magnusson, and turned pro for his H-Street Skateboards brand in 2024.
